2. What we collect, and why
This site is a catalogue and online store for hospital curtains, curtain tracks, and IV bag hangers. We collect what is needed to answer an enquiry, fulfil an order, or deliver a shipment.
- Contact and enquiry details (name, email, phone, message) so we can reply to a quote or product question.
- Order and delivery details (name, email, phone, shipping address, pincode, cart contents) so we can process payment and ship the order.
- Payment status from Razorpay (we do not store full card numbers on this site).
- Consent record for analytics (Accept or Reject) stored in this browser.
We do not ask for date of birth, government ID, or precise location. Please do not send those in a message field.
Our hosting provider may automatically receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested URL as part of delivering the page. We do not use that data to build advertising profiles. If you accept analytics on the cookie banner, Google Analytics also receives page-view data so we can see which catalogue pages are used. 3. Lawful basis
Enquiry data is processed so we can respond to a request you chose to send. Order data is processed to perform the contract of sale and to meet tax and shipping records.
Page-view measurement (Google Analytics) is processed only if you accept it on the cookie banner. You can reject it then, or change the choice later from Cookie preferences in the footer.
We may retain a limited record where Indian law requires it (for example a tax invoice or a dispute).

We do not sell personal data. We share details only with:

- Razorpay, which processes online payments.
- Shiprocket and its courier partners, which deliver orders.
- The email provider used to send order and enquiry messages.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the website. Their servers may be outside India.
- Google LLC, only if you accept analytics, for page-view measurement. Their servers may be outside India.
5. Where data is processed
We are based in India. Hosting, payments, shipping, and analytics may involve processing outside India. We use those processors only to run the website, take payment, and deliver orders.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up on the same project. Order and tax records are kept for the period Indian law requires, then deleted from active systems unless a dispute requires a longer hold.
7. Your rights
Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold, and you may withdraw consent for analytics. Write to info@hospitalcurtains.in with the email address used on the enquiry or order. We will respond within the time the Act requires.
You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
